Craig S. Carson
CEO of Jeco Plastic Products
Craig S. Carson is the CEO of Jeco Plastic Products, a rotational molder and twin sheet pressure former of both custom and standard products. Known for designing original and innovative techniques, Mr. Carson has been profiled in Scientific American, Harvard Business Review and other publications. In 2016, Mr. Carson received the "E" award for excellence in export sales from the U.S. Commerce Department.
Mr. Carson holds a BS (eng.) degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point, as well as a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School. He served in the United States Army in the infantry, commanding an airborne infantry company in combat. Mr. Carson holds various awards and decorations, including the combat infantryman's badge, senior parachutist wings and the ranger tab.

Murat Muftari joined the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration in 2013 as a Senior International Trade Specialist. Mr. Muftari founded the U.S. Commercial Service Vets Go Global initiative in 2014, with a mission of proactively engaging and supporting the veteran-owned business community in international business development and expansion. Awarded a Bronze Star in 2006, Mr. Muftari is a former U.S. Special Forces operator with multiple tours of duty abroad.
He transitioned his defense career into the private sector where he started a defense consultancy with a central focus on developing nations in the Balkans. His real world experience in defense and tactics allowed him to bring U.S. grade training and tactical equipment to the Balkans during NATO integration and force modernization. He also has extensive experience operating a family owned small business and organizing community based non-profit organizations focused on inter-cultural, inter-generational and inter-religious dialogue and understanding. Mr. Muftari holds a BS in Global Business and Public Policy from the University of Maryland and a MA in International Relations from American University.
Michael K. Jackson

Michael K. Jackson serves as Lead Business Development Officer on the Minority and Women-Owned Business team at the Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM). In this capacity, he cultivates and manages relationships with business organizations that represent Asian American, Caribbean American and veteran-owned businesses. He is passionate about educating small businesses about the benefits of doing business globally. As a Caribbean American, Mr. Jackson is also passionate about promoting trade and investment linkages between the U.S. and the Caribbean region.
Immediately prior to joining EXIM, Mr. Jackson served as an Economic Development Specialist and the District International Trade Officer with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). Prior to beginning his career with the federal government, Mr. Jackson spent over a decade in the private sector and held sales and marketing positions with several Fortune 500 corporations in the banking and information and communications technology sectors. In addition to his corporate experience, he also owned and operated a small business for several years.
Mr. Jackson earned an MBA in International Business from American Intercontinental University and a B.S. in Government & Politics from the University of Maryland’s Europe campus in Heidelberg, Germany. Mr. Jackson is proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
