Do you own a business and want to sell your goods in another country? You should. According to the the International Trade Administration, a division of the U.S. Commercial Service, not only do businesses who export grow faster, but they are 8.5% less likely to go out of business than non-exporting companies (see ITA's fact sheet on the benefits of exporting here.)
But how do you export? How do you navigate customs? And how do you guarantee that you get paid once you've sent your product out into the world? Fortunately for you, the Inland Empire Center for International Trade Development is here to help. Each season, CITD hosts a once-a-week known as the Export Trade Assistance Partnership, or ETAP. This class is co-sponsored by the U.S. Small Business Administration, the U.S. Commercial Service, and the Inland Empire Small Business Development Center.
Our next ETAP seriesstarts on August 9 and will be held at SCORE Office Palm Desert, CA. For details about ETAP, check out our flyer above and then click on it to register.
